Impacting people's lives for the better now and in the long term

We are dedicated to providing high quality support, care and wellbeing for our employees, third party providers and companies in which we invest.

We recognised many years ago that the only certainty in life is change and have adapted to the various cycles and growing demands of our industry with a positive attitude and outcome, which is reflected in the work we have done and the businesses we have built over our long history.

We pride ourselves on expanding local businesses internationally within different sectors but with the same ethos in providing the highest level of service to our people, our portfolio companies, and our customers.

Our real estate division is working to clear up thousands of acres of toxic land for redevelopment and changing the logistics landscape with a first mile strategy. Our self-storage business is repurposing unused retail space and utilising the latest technology in the sector to create operational efficiencies and future-proofed assets.

Our healthcare businesses play a vital role in changing the way healthcare services are delivered and are committed to improving the quality of, and access to, care through technology offering the best consumer and patient experience available in the market today, dramatically impacting people’s lives for the better now and in the long term.

We continue to adapt and evolve our ESG policies in light of evolving guidance, best practice and circumstance, to enable us to form long term partnerships and create lasting value for our shareholders, partners and the communities and economies where we operate.

The Marylebone Project – ‘move in packs’ initiative 2024

In March 2024, MARCOL supported the Marylebone Project, a shelter which helps homeless women based off Cosway street W1. We collectively donated 20 ‘move in packs’, these packs providing essential items to women moving into the project who often arrive with little or no belongings.

Baker Street Quarter – Toy Appeal 2023

In December 2023, MARCOL supported BSQ in their Christmas Toy Appeal. Our teams donated over 40 toys and 40 children’s books to IMPS Nursery, which is also a registered charity based off Edgware Road and one of the most deprived wards in the country. This assisted the nursery to ensure that all children had gifts for the holiday period.

Since 2017, MARCOL has participated in the LGN Property Run. Each year, a team of MARCOL employees enjoy the 5K run. We have supported numerous charities over the past six years including LandAid, who provide accommodation for young, homeless people, and WLM (West London Mission), who support the community by providing safe spaces, counselling, and criminal justice to those in need.

MARCOL has raised £131,500.00 for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal in response to the ongoing conflict with Russia. Our donations helped provide food, water, shelter and healthcare to Ukrainian refugees and displaced families. We have also supported our portfolio business in donating products and services to the Ukraine appeal.

Over the past three years MARCOL has supported LandAid, a charity who provide accommodation for young, homeless people. MARCOL’s fundraisers have included Steptober (a company-wide walking competition), the LGN Property Run, holiday bake-offs and our Christmas Santa run / walk.

In the winter of 2022, our teams donated over 80 coats to WrapUp London, helping the appeal reach their target of distributing 30,000 coats to the homeless and those in need during the cold, wet winter months.
